Questions & answers Ask a question Q: Can I find out if there is a warrant on a person?A: Yes you can call a number located on the Arapahoe County website and ask. If it is your warrant, you can go to the courthouse and to try to get on the docket to see a judge. DO NOT GO TO THE CLERK WINDOW ON THE FIRST FLOOR!!!!! They will arrest you right there. Go upstairs to the court room you believe your case is in or ask a lawyer for help. Explain that you need to get on the court docket to see a judge who can resolve the warrant. (This only works for some cases. I learned this the hard way, but it generally works for fta's, probation violations (my charge), or similar cases.) If you successfully get added to the docket, they will give you a piece of paper and send you to the downstairs window, but this time that paper shows that you are going to see the judge who will hopefully resolve your warrant by giving you an official court date. Make sure you show up no later than 8am.
