Fully operational?A: Yes, the hotel is open! Although one building with cabana rooms is currently closed due to damage from hurricane Maria everything else is open and operational! People working in the area restaurants have mentioned how grateful they are to have service people and vacationers here after the devastation of hurricane Maria. Although this area has electricity many employees live in areas that do not and also may not have electricity for several months. One employee at a nearby restaurant mentioned how grateful and lucky he is to have his job because he is able to provide fresh food for himself and his family, charge his phone, and be in the air conditioning while he is working to provide for his family.
