The epic robot-fighting series returns, moving from ABC to Discovery for Season 3. What hasn't changed is the biggest, baddest, strongest and fastest next-generation robots from all corners of the globe trading haymakers to reign supreme in Robot Combat Sports. Each match consists of two robots competing in a single, three-minute bout in which the goal is to destroy or disable the opponent. If there is no knockout during the battle, a panel of judges declares the winner. Returning favorites include Tombstone, Minotaur, Chomp, Witch Doctor, Bronco, and Yeti, challenged by newcomers looking for their pound of metal. In addition to the bouts, the series highlights the design and build of each robot, bot builder backstories, and the pursuit of the "BattleBots" championship.
